Khorjin is a Farsi word used throughout Iran which defines double bags of larger sizes, typically 2’ x 2’ (60 x 60 cm) and greater.
Our Khorjin rugs are inspired by the tribal bags representing magnificent vintage nomadic look with a modern feel and colours. They are produced by Afghani artizans. Weavers use very high quality wool finely hand woven on a cotton foundation. Pile is cut low and several washing processes provide silk like gloss and softness. Meticulous finish is clearly visible on the fringes or a sidecord. These rugs are extremely resistant and durable and thanks to the design they also look spectacular as a wall hanging.
Please note.
We finish Khorjin rugs with colourful fringes which compliments modern feel of this unique range. However, if you don't like the colourful fringes, we can remove wool sleeve and trim them to the desired lenght to achieve more traditional finish. Sometimes on special request we can even tea wash them for you. If that's something you'd prefer please get in touch before ordering the rug

RETURNS
Our rugs are delivered in a re-useable bag so returns are easy.
If you want to return a rug it's up to you to package it securely and arrange the return by courier. We make a full refund immediately when the rug arrives here in good condition.
If you would like us to make the collection arrangements using our courier service, we make a charge equal to the courier collection cost. It's usually no more than £20 for mainland UK. A bit more for Highlands, Island and Europe. This amount is deducted from the refund that we make on the rugs return.
